Meridian Integration, a Jacksonville, FL based utility solutions provider, is excited to announce the donation of (2) “Smart” monitors to Girlstart’s Austin, TX office.

“Meridian’s leadership was in Austin for a technology conference and required 2 monitors for presenting. We thought donating the monitors to Girlstart, in support of girls in STEM (Science, Technology, Math, and Engineering), was the perfect solution vs. shipping them back to our main office.” said Todd Lamoureaux, Vice President of Corporate Strategy for Meridian. He further added, “We believe supporting organizations focused on girls in STEM is a key component to ensure a robust, exceptional, and balanced STEM workforce.”

Tamara Hudgins, Girlstart’s Executive Director, shared “We are excited to incorporate these new monitors into our curriculum and appreciate Meridian thinking of us and their generosity. The monitors will allow us to engage our students in new and technologically creative ways, especially since Girlstart’s programs incorporate a wide range of emergent technologies. This gift will allow us to expand the range of programs that we do and reach more girls with high-quality STEM education.”
